The Department of State has posted the visa bulletin for January 2020.
EB-1 Priority Workers final action date has jumped forward to October 1, 2018 for all nationals, except those born in China with a cutoff date of May 22, 2017 and those born in India remain with a cutoff date of January 1, 2015. Other categories except EB-2/EB-3 India and China have improved significantly.
The good news is that the USCIS announced that it will continue to accept adjustment of status applications in November for family-based petitions and employment- based petitions for those with priority dates before the listed cutoff date in the filing dates chart.
However, for both family and employment based petitions, your priority date must be earlier than the date in the final action chart for final approval of your immigrant visa or adjustment of status application.
