July 2019 Visa Bulletin Update

The Department of State has posted the visa bulletin for July 2019.

EB-1 Priority Workers final action date is now April 22, 2018 for all nationals, except those born in India with a cutoff date of January 1, 2015 and China with a cutoff date of May 8, 2017.

EB-2 and EB-3 is current (no backlog) for all nationals, except those born in India who have a cutoff date of April 24, 2009 (EB-2) and July 1, 2009 (EB-3) AND those born in China who now have a cutoff date of November 1, 2016 (EB-2) and January 1 (EB-3).

The USCIS announced that it will accept adjustment of status applications in July for family-based petitions for those with priority dates before the listed cutoff date in the filing dates chart. For employment- based petitioners, the USCIS will accept adjustment of status applications in April for those with priority dates before the listed cutoff date in the final action chart.

However, for both family and employment based petitions, your priority date must be earlier than the date in the final action chart for final approval of your immigrant visa or adjustment of status application.
